Appointments

How to request an appointment

You can request an appointment with one of our clinicians by:

  • Calling the practice and asking for a pre-bookable appointment with the practice or our extended access service
  • Calling the practice from 8:00am for a same day telephone appointment
  • Using the online service to book an appointment (complete our register for online services form if not already registered)

All appointments must first be triaged over the phone, if the doctor then requires seeing you face-to-face, they will arrange for you to come to the surgery following the initial telephone appointment.

Please be advised our telephones are very busy first thing and you may find yourself in a long queue. We work through the queue as quickly as we can and between 8 – 8:30 everyone possible in the surgery is taking calls.

You may be offered an appointment with our extended access service – groups of local practices working together to provide extra appointments at shared locations during evenings and weekends. The clinician will need to triage you over the phone prior to be being given a time to visit the location they are working at.

If you are unable to book for a same day appointment or an extended access appointment and you feel your appointment cannot wait until the next day, please call 111.

To book routine appointments with our practice nurses, health care assistants or phlebotomists – please call the surgery after 9:30am when the lines are less busy. These are pre-bookable and depending on the appointment, you may not need to be telephone triaged.

If you need to re-book an appointment

Please telephone the surgery on 01767 682525 option 1 after 9:30am when the lines are quieter and ask the receptionist to make you an appointment for a later date.
